Mot Tester/Mechanic

This independent motor company requires an experienced qualified MOT Tester / mechanic. (must be currently testing)

Reporting to the Service Manager, the ideal applicant will work in the busy fast paced Service Department, ensuring vehicles (including cars and light vans) are roadworthy and all the relevant paperwork is completed to the highest standard and must have previous experience as an MOT Tester.
You must have relevant MOT certificates.

Benefits include

20 days paid holiday plus paid bank holiday's

£13 per hour 42.5 hour week plus every 2nd or 3rd Saturday morning.

Auto Technicians/ Motor Mechanic.

The ideal applicant should be fully qualified with a min of 5 yrs experience. Superb workshop with all the most up to date diagnostic equipment.

The applicant will be working as part of an established professional team. Always receiving ongoing training and support from the management. This is a busy garage where the applicant will be expected to meet target deadlines but never compromising on the quality on the work.
Your daily duties will be.
Repairing and servicing the incoming vehicles to the workshop.
Ensuring that the work is completed to an extremely high standard in the time frames allocated. Diagnosing faults and repairing the same.
Ordering the necessary parts. Carrying out warranty repairs ensuring that the manufacturing guidelines are met at all times.
Stripping and fitting replacing the necessary components.
